Kells Luncheon Club (as it is known) meets each Thursday from 11.45am until 1.30pm from September to June in Kells Presbyterian Church Hall which is kindly granted although it is not a church organisation. As a Registered Charity in its own right it is run by a small committee taken from the membership.

The club is open to any senior citizen of the twin villages and surrounding area and provides a free taxi service (if required) to and from the hall for those within the village boundaries.

As the name suggests each person receives a hot three course meal costing only £4.00 which changes from week to week and is prepared on the premises. Each week there is a varied programme which may be a speaker on a special topic applicable for senior citizens, singers, a quiz or a sing-a-long.

There is a yearly membership fee of £10.00. For this each member receives a free four course Christmas dinner, a free outing during June with a meal supplied and other small gifts during the year.
