Jesus said “My house shall be called a house of prayer.”
Prayer is at the very heart of Kells Presbyterian Church and we meet as often as we can to pray. We are also encouraged to spend time alone with God every day to commune with Him through prayer.
The weekly times of corporate prayer are:
Sunday Mornings 11.40 am, Minister’s Room
Sunday Evenings (when there’s an evening service) 6pm, Choir Room.
Wednesday Nights 8pm, Midweek.
First Sunday of each month 8.30am, Prayer Room.
Communion Sundays 8.30am, Prayer Room.
We have Weeks of Prayer at the beginning of new sessions in the life of the church or when there is a special need to pray.
We also have Half Nights of Prayer from 8pm – Midnight each year.
If you need prayer urgently, the Prayer Email is available at mscopeland@btinternet.com . Just send your request and it will be forwarded to those on the Prayer Email List. Also please feel free to ask for personal prayer after the services on Sunday, put a request in the Prayer Box in the vestibule or through our website.
Prayer Triplets. If you would like to be linked with two other people to pray in a triplet, please speak to a member of the prayer committee.
We have prayer links with the Let’s Pray initiative of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
You are most welcome to join us to pray at any of these times as we call on God to glorify His Name through His Church in these days.
God said: Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great mighty things that you know not. Jeremiah 33:3.
