Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of His faithful people. (Psalms 149: 1 NIVUK)
The Choir at Kells Presbyterian Church is a small four-part choir which is integral to leading the worship at most Sunday services. Our musical highlights are the Easter Morning Service, Harvest Service and the annual Carol Service at Christmas. For these special services we are joined by members of the choir from our “sister” church at Eskylane and sing at both churches.
Practices take place on Monday evenings from 8.00 – 9.30pm in the main church building, usually from August – April.
New members are always welcome – especially men – AND – you don’t need to be able to read music!
“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!” (Psalms 95:1-2 ESV)
Our Praise Group leads worship at least 3 times a month with additional contributions to special events and services. We play both contemporary and more traditional music. We are a mixture of ages and experience who share one goal – to raise hearts to the Lord in praise and worship and to please Him. We would really welcome new members to our team so if you feel this is a ministry to which you are called please contact us through the website or speak to any of us after a service.
