Additional Announcements
A new Children’s Church rota is available from the coffee dock. If you normally help with Children’s church, please could you collect yours.
Tuesday evening is the PW Spring Rally in 2nd Broughshane. It is at 7:30pm, beginning with supper, and Catherine Campbell will be the speaker. If you would like a lift and to go as part of a group, please speak to Carolyn.
Members of the new Congregational Committee are reminded of their meeting on Thursday evening at 8:00pm in the Eaton Hall.
This is our annual week of 10-10 prayer. We hope to have prayer ongoing in the prayer room from 10am -10pm each day. Some slots are still available on the rota on the coffee dock, so if you haven’t yet signed up, please take a look, or contact a member of the prayer committee, who will be able to sort you out. It would be lovely to have every slot filled. The door will be opened at 10 each morning for the first person to get in. Throughout the day the door will remain locked, so at the end of your hour, please come down to the door and let the next person in before you leave. When arriving for prayer, if you could be on time, so that the previous person can leave, that would be appreciated.
The Men’s Fellowship group are planning an evening of ‘Chuckin’ and Chicken’ on Friday 8th May at 7pm in the church hall. They will be playing darts and getting a chippie from Sizzlers, with an epilogue from Stephen. All men welcome for food, fellowship and banter, and feel free to bring friends and relatives. The price will be the cost of your takeaway.
The annual PAT tests for electrical appliances will be taking place on Monday 11th May. If you have an electrical appliance such as a laptop, extension lead, musical instrument etc which you use in a church organisation, please could you leave it in the choir room before the 11th to be checked. Untested items cannot be used in organisations as they may invalidate our insurance. Thank you for your help in keeping our buildings and church family safe.
Holiday Bible Club is fast approaching and all those who help with the club need to have an AccessNI check from PCI. If you are hoping to help this year, but do not have a PCI AccessNI certificate please could you speak to William McCaughey or Kat Kerr and begin to move through that process.
