Additional Announcements
Kirk session are reminded of their meeting on Tuesday evening. It will be at 8pm.
As you know, we are working hard to ensure our safeguarding records are up to date. Carolyn has been gathering information, but this work is now the responsibility of our new church safeguarding team – William McCaughey (designated person), Kathryn Kerr (Deputy Designated person) and Stephen Kerr (Minister).
If you serve in any organisation which works with children and young people (including occasional things like creche and children’s church, as well as weekly activities) you must provide evidence of having completed an AccessNI check through pci.
If you have a pci AccessNI check and have already given your details (10 digit case number and date) to Carolyn, thank you. We don’t need anything else from you at this time. If you have evidence but have not yet given your information, please send it through to Kat as soon as possible.
If you have no evidence of a pci AccessNI check you must complete a full ‘Application Form for Leaders’ and return it to a member of the Safeguarding Team to be processed. Copies of the form and guidance on how to complete it correctly are available at the front of church or from members of the Safeguarding Team.
Please seek to return forms as soon as possible, as there are several things to be done to ensure applications are processed within 90 days of your online AccessNI application.
If you have any questions or need any help, contact Kat (07789 765665 / kerrkat@hotmail.com)
