Additional Announcements
Equip meets at 7:30pm on Tuesday evening. The title this month is ‘Why we pray’ and Stephen is speaking at it! All are welcome. If you would like to go but lack transport, please speak to Stephen and Kat, or Carolyn.
On Wednesday evening we are having Shirley Stronge to speak at our Missionary Midweek. Shirley is a friend of Claire and Amir, and will be speaking about their work.
Eskylane church: Please note that their annual harvest tea, which would have been due to take place on Fri 23rd will NOT take place this year. This is due to work being carried out at Eskylane which has put their halls out of use for the time being. Apologies for this.
Any PW members who have mission boxes, or who would like to contribute to the PW special projects this year, please give your contributions to Jackie Campbell by 1st December. Special projects this year are ‘Transforming Lives for Good’ and ‘Bible Society Malawi’. Thank you.
Outside Announcements
The rearranged AGM of the Kells and Connor Improvement Association will now take place on Wednesday 28th October at 7:30pm in the Community Centre
Kells and Connor Improvement Association would like to invite all organisations, and the general public, to the Remembrance service at the Kells and Connor War Memorial on Sunday 8th Nov at 3pm. Organisations are invited to lay a wreath during the service. If you would like to do this, please let Susanne McNeilly know. (semcneilly@gmail.com) Wreath layers should arrive by 2:45pm.
