Additional Announcements
The Congregational Committee are reminded of their meeting this Tuesday evening. And the Missionary sub-committee are reminded of their meeting on Thursday evening. Both meetings are at 8pm
Youth Fellowship has been growing this year and we are delighted to be heading off to Crawfordsburn Activity Centre on Friday 19th June for an action-packed activity weekend.
As a church family we are asking for 2 things:
Firstly, and most importantly – Pray!
Please pray for the 17 young people coming along -For fun, friendships and safety. Pray too for open hearts and listening ears during talks, worship and group discussions. Pray for the four leaders too; for energy, enthusiasm and wisdom in their roles. Pray also for Stephen Kerr as he comes along to open up God’s word to our young people. It is our prayer that this weekend will be full of fun, and opportunities to grow in faith, and that it will be a blessing to all who attend. Thank you for your prayers.
Secondly, if anyone within our church family would be able to supply a dozen traybakes/buns for a tasty treat at supper time during the weekend we would really appreciate it. Any traybakes/bun donations can be left in the church kitchen on Wednesday at Midweek or with Kat at the manse on Thursday evening or Friday (before 6pm Friday) please label for YF. Thank You in anticipation of your tasty treats!
Our church family prayer and fellowship time will continue throughout June. Then for the months of July and August our morning service will move to 11:30am with a prayer time before it at 11am.
Outside Announcements
Keswick at Portstewart is taking place from 4th – 10th July. Speakers this year are: Mark Meynell(Morning Bible teaching), Jonathan Thomas and Clive Bowsher(Evening celebrations)
The next walk with the Kells and Connor Strollers and Striders will be this Thursday, 18th June. If you would like to be a part of the group, please contact Lorraine Craig from the community association on 07761840128, and she will add you to the whatsapp group.
