Manse Update – All planning consents are now in place and we await final clearance from Building Control. The internal strip out is well advanced thanks to a small dedicated voluntary labour team. The evidence uncovered during this work provided even more certainty that the decision to demolish and rebuild was the correct choice. We would hope to see the structural demolition under way in the next few weeks and ground works commenced early in the new year.

As we near the end of our first year of your contributions to this work via the Manse Fund envelope scheme the committee are encouraged by the generous support of all who have contributed so far given the current economic climate. Nevertheless it would be great to see more members getting behind the scheme. Contributing even in a small way ensures that we can all feel part of this important project. Together we can share the thrill of seeing it develop over the next year.

Contributions can be made via Manse Fund Envelopes (available in the vestibule) or by Bank Transfer to Kells Presbyterian Church – Sort Code 950231 Account No 1276 9409. Please include your CWO number and the word Manse in the Bank Reference.
