Additional Announcements
The committee would like to thank all who have continued to support our Church work financially over the recent difficult period. As we start the New Year and plan for the necessary but exciting new building projects agreed at our recent congregational meeting we would also encourage you to support this work through giving either via the Property Fund envelopes or directly to our bank account. As before transfers for CWO to our bank should have your CWO number as the payment reference. For transfers to the Property Fund the payment reference should be your CWO number followed by the word PROPERTY.
In both cases the Bank details are Sort Code 950231 and A/C No 1276 9409
Restart Dates
Due to the rapid rise in Covid cases the Kirk Session have decided to hold off restarting Youth and Children’s work until the start of February. This is due to the difficulty with maintaining full social distancing when children are involved. We realise that this is disappointing, but we were motivated by a desire for the welfare of our young people and their leaders. Adult organisations will continue as normal with full social distancing, good ventilation, and other mitigations.
As a result of this decision creche, bubbles and Church Zone will not be available until 1st February. However, we are very aware that this is difficult for parents of young children. We are very happy to have them stay throughout the service and are not concerned by any noise they create. However, if a parent wishes to take their child into to halls at any time and stay with them, they are very welcome to do so. Please feel free to come and go as you please during the service. These are extraordinary times and we want to do all that we can to make church both safe and enjoyable for children and their parents. We also hope to have child friendly work sheets available for all children who come to church so that they can be part of the service and have something helpful to occupy them.
Provisional restart dates will be notified asap.
Luncheon Club will not recommence until February.
