“In the light of the current Coronavirus precautions and conscious of the need to protect people, Ministers of the Ballymena Presbytery have agreed that until further notice Ministers will conduct a short service at the place of burial or cremation with only the immediate family present. Ministers will not conduct services in a home, funeral parlour, Meeting House or other Church property.”In addition Ministers can only visit at home or in hospital if someone is dying. Hospitals will only allow 1 visit per day from 1 designated family member except where someone is critically ill in which case a minister will be allowed in briefly. In the case of Coronavirus the restrictions are even tighter.All other pastoral calls must be made by telephone.
