“Based on advice given in respect to the Coronavirus outbreak we have decided to cancel all Church activities until further notice. We do this with a heavy heart but convinced that it is our biblical responsibility to respect the governing authorities and to show loving concern to our wider community as well as to our members. Over the next period of time we plan to live stream the following through the Kells Presbyterian Church Facebook Page:

a. A shortened service at 12 noon every Sunday.

b. An evening service every two weeks at 6.30 pm.

c. A midweek service every Wednesday at 8.00 pm.

d. An evening update complete with bible reading and prayers every weekday evening at 7.00 pm.

Although these are live they will be available to view for some time after transmission which will allow Eskylane members to either view it live or on a Thursday evening.

It is also planned to produce a Home Group style personal study based on the Sunday sermon. This will be available on the website or if you send your email address via the website you will get a copy emailed to you weekly.

In order to view these you should go to Facebook and search for Kells Presbyterian Church. If you do not use Facebook you can:

a. Join Facebook by going to Facebook.com and setting up and account. You then can go to the Kells Presbyterian Church page and ask to become a member.

b. If you are already a member, Click here to go directly to Kells Presbyterian Church’s Facebook page.

As a result of these decisions the current Committee Election has been postponed.

We all need to be very aware of the situation of the elderly and vulnerable at this time. With that in mind:

a. If you need help with shopping etc please ring Rev Boyd (02825891215), your district elder or committee person or send an email through the contact us section of the webpage.

b. If you are not part of a vulnerable group and would like to volunteer to help deliver necessities to the isolated please contact us and e will add your name to list of potential helpers.

During this difficult time please continue much in prayer and in the deep assurance that our God reigns.

“Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faith. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, strong tower against the enemy.” (Psalm 61 vs 1 – 3)”
